Joan T. Troy passed away on Monday, October 12, 2020, at Abington Memorial Hospital. She was 86 years old. Joan was the daughter of the late John and Katherine Thomas. She was a loving mother and grandmother. Her children are Michael Troy (Terry), Bill Troy (Kathy), and Joanne Troy. Her grandchildren are Kelly, Nicole, Shannon, and Annemarie Troy. She has now joined her husband Bill and all her siblings, Jack, Bette, Katherine, Mary, and Ann. Joan was the youngest of 6 children and grew up in Olney, Philadelphia. When she graduated Little Flower High School, she worked at Bell Telephone as a telephone operator. She enjoyed many things in life, but in particular she enjoyed Dunkin Donuts iced tea. Joan loved animals, especially dogs and birds. This is the reason she chose Frances as her Confirmation name since Saint Francis of Assisi is the patron saint of animals. She loved going to the beach and dancing around the kitchen with her family. She had a contagious laugh that made everyone laugh along with her. She always talked about her life when she was younger like how she used to bring milk to school in a miracle whip jar and how she met her husband on a blind date. Joan was gentle, loving, and had a big heart full of love for her family. It is good to know she is in the arms of Jesus now. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral mass, Saturday, October 17th at 10:30 am at Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church, 605 W. Street Rd., Warminster Pa. 18974. Friends will be recieved from 9:30 am till time of mass in church. In lieu of flower, the family is asking remembrances to be made to: Harley's Haven Dog Rescue, 1419 Ridge Rd, Perkasie, PA 18944, in Joan's memory. Interment Ressurection Cemetery.

Decker-Givnish Life Celebration, Warminster.
